lmendonca Hi, I was testing the trial Presto version of Lightstreamer and sometimes, when the server is running for a long period of time without any clientes connected, then the first client try to connect the server restarts itself. No log is printed, just restarted. Any clues to where i should look to resolve this? thanks, Leonardo.
Dario Crivelli We don't provide any script that restarts the Server process. Are you using custom scripts? Or is the Server configured as a service under Windows?
lmendonca It's running as a service and i did the workaround as we talked in this thread. http://www.lightstreamer.com/vb/showthread.php?t=140&highlight=windows+service&page=2
Dario Crivelli In the reported thread, it turned out that our script was not written properly, but you overcame that by launching nssm directly. This should be fine. When you say that the Server is restarted, do you mean that it crashes and for this reason it is eventually restarted? Is the client trying to connect actually served after the restart? About the log, do you mean that you can never see any log from the Server or that you don't see any log only in relation with the Server crash? Can you find anything in Windows event log related with the issue? In fact, nssm performs its own log through the system event log.
