I don't think that we will release the Dojo demo updated with Dojo 0.9 soon.
You should try to update the demo using Dojo's tutorial:
0.4.x to 0.9 Porting Guide
Moreover take a look to this demo:
Lightstreamer + Dojo Interop Fest 1.0
It make use of Dojo 0.4 (and OpenAjax Hub 1.0) but could be more understandable than the original demo.
