zablocki Hello LightStreamer kind support, My app needs to stream data via lightstreamer on Apple Watch. To do this with recent iOS11 SDK I would need to compile watchkit extension with armv7k architecture to be able to deploy my application to the watch. Previously it was the iPhone running the extension which was of different architecture. I presume current LightStreamer client doesn't support armv7k architecture yet. Is that something you guys are working on? Could you please give us some schedule of when we can expect iOS LightStreamer client SDK with armv7k support? Thank you, Tomasz
gianluca.bertani Hello Tomasz, support for Apple Watch is coming. In your case, which one of the following solutions would better fit? - Adding the ARMv7k architecture to the iOS client SDK. - Introducing a separate watchOS client SDK. Your answer will help us decide for the better.
zablocki Thank you for the update, We would prefer to have a separate watchOS client SDK if possible. Would it be possible to roughly estimate how long we would need to wait for new armv7k client? Thank you, Tomasz
gianluca.bertani Thanks for your advice, we will probably move towards a separate SDK. Tentatively, we can say Q1 2018. Work will start after the release of Server 7 and SDKs 4.0, which are being finalized in these weeks.
gianluca.bertani The watchOS SDK is now available for download. All the details in this dedicated blog post.
